We are feeding 100 Homes this Thanksgiving!

Mike: Hello. Thanksgiving is coming up and we have a great announcement. Vegas Capital Realty and Smoketo are partnering up to feed the homeless. We will be feeding minimum hundred people and Smoketo is the company that’s going to prepare the food. We are planning to go out and feed as much people as possible minimum hundred people on November 20th Saturday, November 20. And I would like to introduce to you Smoketo, Derek and Paula, the owners of Smoketo. So Derek, what do you guys do specifically everyday besides feeding the homeless this month?

Derek: Sure. Well, I mean, the origins of Smoketo came from a passion for smoking meat and doing barbecue.And also being on a keto diet, which has helped me regulate my own personal health and weight. And we just want to share that opportunity to help change people’s lives through weekly meal prep and even sometimes catering events to share our passion and what has changed our life with other people.

Mike: Great, well, I’ve tasted the food it’s really, really tasty, and it’s really good.We’re going to put their information at the bottom of this video. And, it’s all about meal prep, healthy, good yummy meal prep. It’s not your boring, broccoli. And you know, and then Paula, what are we going to do specifically with feeding the homeless for Thanksgiving? Can you tell us about the event?

Paula: Yes. Thank you so much for partnering with Mike and ourselves as Smoketo, you know, 2020 was a very difficult year for so many, a lot of loss, a lot of uncertainty and our company was born out of that adversity. So because of our customers and our community support, we continue to thrive. And so this year we just feel so blessed and we want to give back.And so this is how we had the inspired idea. Last year, we offered to our customers smoked turkeys and everybody agreed, smoked Turkey is the best way to have it. So this year we’re asking people to partner with us and to be able to give smoked Turkey to families in need. And so we’re going to be doing this for the homeless.And giving out hot plates and hot meals, but most of all hope so we’re asking people to give their thanks by giving this year.
