Top 3 Reasons People are Moving

Welcome back to my video blog. Today, we’re going to be discussing the main reasons why families are moving in this real estate market. Traditionally, there has been few reasons why people would move such as job transfer, downsizing, retirement, or family growing and up-sizing and needing more room. Also divorce and death. However, in this market, the Annual National Movers Study came out with a report in 2020.

The main reasons why people moving now are different. The number one reason is families trying to get closer and being near other loved ones and family. Where before that, wasn’t a major issue. Now due to the pandemic, a lot more families getting closer to be able to check on each other and be near each other. Number two is because of being able to work from home. With the market changing. With the pandemic. A lot of people are working from home. Therefore they are moving. They don’t need to be close to their work and they’re moving away from those major cities downtown going to the suburbs. Also, they need more space in their house to set up their offices. So that’s another main reason. We’re getting a lot of people moved to Vegas here because, and still keeping their employment in other states.

However they can live here now and work from home. The third reason is quality of life, such as more space in the house, just spend more time at home and more space in their backyard. The outdoor kitchens are more popular. Now people get to do more activities in the house and in their backyards. So those are the three main reasons in general, throughout the country, Las Vegas is growing. We’re getting a lot of people move here again for the low cost of living, zero state tax, and as I mentioned, people move here, keep their jobs. And it’s a great place to live.
